The Village House has a story rooted in hospitality long before it became the venue it is today. In 2018, that legacy took on a new life when Julia Nichols Maier, the owner, reimagined it into something even more special.
In a full-circle moment, Julia herself became the very first bride at The Village House—setting the tone for what this space would become. Her vision was simple but intentional: to create a venue that feels effortlessly welcoming, full of Southern charm, and designed for celebrations that feel both elevated and personal.
Today, The Village House blends that original character with versatile spaces. From our inviting indoor areas to our beautiful outdoor settings, every corner was designed to flow seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. With in-house catering, flexible layouts, and a setting that captures the warmth of the South, we make it easy for couples to focus on what matters most—celebrating their story.
